meeMezzo-Soprano Rachel Cordeiro performs a varied repertoire ranging from the American Songbook to Viennese operetta and Puerto Rican  danzas, and has appeared as a featured vocalist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Symphony Space, and Brooklyn Academy of Music.

A member of Actors’ Equity, and a Latin Grammy nominated musician, Rachel was a Lys Symonette Award recipient from The Kurt Weill Foundation’s Lotte Lenya Competition.  She holds a Master’s in Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor’s in Theatre Performance from Marymount Manhattan College.

Current and ongoing projects include expanding and developing her solo performance repertoire, and raising funds for arts education in New York City public schools.
